Our isp in singapore also block porn sites due to govt orders but its on dns level, so changing dns to like cloudlflare or google dns unblocks them. Not sure if that is the case for india.

Correct indeed! I did reinvent the wheel for onddns though, it doesn't use bind or powerdns etc. It uses a custom coded dns server which doesn't have all the bells and whistles of these larger project

Yeah. For DNS it’s really simple. You can just go with all DDoS providers and have 4 nameservers or so :P

Thanks for this! Yes onddns uses multiple providers for dns already to keep things from falling apart in the event of DDoS. This is another expansion to the project where I'm interesting now in onddns

I know for DNS I use OVH and Path, works fine so far. Ns1 at OVH ns2 at BuyVM
