A while ago I got access to two VPSs from the promo, one with 10 GB SSD and one with 50 GB HDD. Both cost about €24 per year. If I'm not mistaken that's the only difference between the two VMs.

Which is a pretty good thing considering the market conditions (IPv4 princing).

I'm not sure you should be paying the same initial contract pricing for what would be at least 2-3 year old hardware too at this point so that's always worth considering.

I think a customer should keep a backup to protect their data against their own fuckups.
