Honestly im not sure. Seems to passthrough/create a /dev/tun and a /dev/tap device, which allows vpns to work. Without it you usually get an error that /dev/tun isn't a device/doesn't exist.

@sh97 debian 12 installation is giving error tried twice, had to go with debian 11 which installed successfully.

When trying to force it not to mount the formatting, it generates an error when installing and does not mount the image.

No big deal about this... Maybe it's just the wording error...
