You only buy what you need and when you consider the monthly costs to use WHMCS on the higher tiers it works out cheaper, if you run into an issue with WHMCS their support is limited while my own expe

With a small plugin in WHCMS you could make it work, for like free, no license fees ever, rock solid.

The Njalla way addresses the registry concerns, but you no longer own your domain and can make no legal claim for it. You just have a license from Njalla/etc to use it.

You can get a free Blesta license with NameCrane and a free ClientExec with Racknerd. Better path for you, $10 bucks will get you a license for a year check each of those out properly before moving. I

I use ClientExec as it suits my use case very well. I used Blesta but didn't really like the UI at the time I used it. Grabbed a $175 lifetime owned unbranded license of clientexec on a sale with life

WHMCs have been the standard and quite stable for years, Blesta gives you the option to edit the core which is great.
