netcup Registration is difficult, I am in China

I would suggest you to go with Netcup. Their 8.40euro/mo (you need annual agreement to get this price, but you pay every 6 months so basically half now and half after 6 months) plan gives you:

Netcup (8.40€ X 12 yearly or 9.40€ X 6 bi-annualy or 10.40€ monthly)

Most VPS providers are poor value for one or more of cpu/ram/storage. Usually storage followed by cpu cores. Providers like netcup, phpfriends, contabo are the only sanely priced VPS providers.

If you need traffic "traffic in and out is going to be EU" then netcup is your best option.

I see, so one could take more than one snapshot for free and then retrieve them by http or ftp (via one's VPS), thereby avoiding netcup's own downloading mechanism? This would be a clever workaround.

AlphaVPS has better Geekbench score as compared to Netcup, no doubt. Rest of the things are almost same. Also, more disk + RAM in netcup.
