A surprising conclusion of this thread is that shared hosting customers are expected to not use premium DNS hosting.

Checked the DNS Guide straight on the portal and these are the settings:

And every half-decent panel supports Cloudflare and some other DNS APIs.

What if that user's domain registered with Cloudflare? Cloudflare didn't allow domain owners to change from their DNS to third parties.
