I ended up splitting the sites out between two options: a SimpleSonic reseller package for UK clients (who have been great), and then leaving EU clients on the CrownCloud VPS (they are also brilliant)

Thanks I'll have a closer look at all these now - CrownCloud wont be suitable due to the 500GB transfer but the others look promising

So far, I've worked with @RoyaleHosting , @MikeA (extravm), @layer7 , @SpeedBus (crowncloud), @servarica_hani , @fiberstate - and never had any issue with them.
