Linode's support is better and the price/performance is better (in my experience). Linode also have a new control panel - the old one was a bit disorganised. Linode are also slowly rolling out volume

The 2 or 3 times I had a linode outage (hw failure ) they have answered in like less than 30 mins. Also they helped very quick when their xen to kvm simply fucked up

Dunno what you mean, IIRC on Linode you can easily run your own kernel (unlike old DO or current Scaleway), now that it's KVM I believe there's not even the need to bother with pyGrub anymore.

Actually, Korean VPS price range is around the same as major providers like Linode, Vultr, etc (at least for residents/except for the bandwidth cost) if you go for hosting companies, not ISPs or NAVER

if you still wanted to use VPS, use Linode they wont change your IP

I got one. The connection speed to Linode is very slow, but much better for Softlayer.
