Yah, easily breakable. I was just talking generally. They used to be costly in my area when there were few fibre providers, but, with an increased coverage, the cable cost also went down.

Fibre cable isn't that costly honestly, but maintaining it is a different story.

This also depends on the price of fibre optic cable. Enquire around. Since your area is up and coming when it comes to fibre, chances are prices are pretty high.
