If they have just left the disk images alone with the ransomware boot sector etc still intact, as long as you can mount your own ISO and use VNC, that's probably enough to do what you want.

tested from a node in Vietnam just now and got 178MiB/s. there is no network speed limit on the s3 gateway endpoint (at least for now).

I recorded a maximum speed of 307 MiB/s during a speed test on the local node in Singapore.
