Tokyo, Japan Linode 8.85MB/s

Can DO or linode spin up the same snapshot on different datacenter locations without having to change IP addresses or drive mappings like Vultr can?

Linode matches all of the major regions of Vultr: Europe, US and APAC. What it only misses is Australia.

Linode is lacking in location options though.

3.10 distro kernel with AMD EPYC 7401P cpu. With Linode added bonus is they use Linux 4.15+ kernels by default https://www.linode.com/kernels/

Although I definitely wouldn't recommend them over DO, Linode, Vultr, etc.

When I do land on AMD EPYC or Intel Xeon Gold 6148 on Linode, will definitely be sharing benchmarks I usually do for each VPS I use

Use DO, Vultr and Linode for a long time too but this isn't about reliability (uptime). Each I use for their respective strengths for my intended usage scenarios. But original poster is concerned with

IPv4 to Atlanta is at Coloat while IPv6 to Atlanta is Linode. In my experience, Coloat has always been super slow, I have seen as low as ~500KB/s for machines in the US.

Actually, I think I have, DO since 2013, Linode since 2007, Vultr since 2014 and in that time they have been more reliable than Linode, on a par with DO.

I have been with Linode for a long time but well-regarded for quality and stability, Nah, not really.

Tokyo, Japan Linode 8.18MB/s

Because for $5 you might as well just use their competitors such as Linode or DigitalOcean, which are much more recognized and well-regarded for quality and stability (especially Linode).

on my current setup for news site 500k view/m (wordpress based). Linode 4GB had more that enough room to grow.

I use Vultr, DO and Linode and I have no such issues with Linode for VPS itself

Linode Japan.

Once I had to spin up like 20 linode $10 server for couple days powered off because one of my client had a traffic spike on his tiny linode. That makes a multi-hundred bill $70 at the end of the month
