You’re correct that our main site lives on its own dedicated environment, however the important part is that our shared and reseller hosting customers are running on the same underlying software stack

You are planning for a non existing problem. If you have 50k domains then you can figure it out then and you will have the resources to do...

edit: even on my cheap home power plan in texas that'd be $50~/m after tax for just the power
