@Mopsy there are quite a few who have encountered I/O problems with ChicagoVPS including myself.

As far as I am concerned, the OpenVZ part of ChicagoVPS is awesomely priced, and very fast. Not sure about Xen.

The point of sharing my stats was only to state that this is not a universal issue with ChicagoVPS, and that his problems, while not directly related to my own services with them, are probably an erro

@AsuraHosting with that thing ChicagoVPS was doing a month or so back, it was $7 a month for 2GB plus 500MB for getting one that night. Then their $5 a month cPanel. Score!

@DotVPS: Not unless he signs up for ChicagoVPS... it's literally half that price with a 2GB VPS w/ CPanel.

I'd bought a 2GB VPS during their offer too. The server is decent, most benchmarks are better than some of the other VPS providers I tested out.

When I had a ChicagoVPS for minecraft, I had minecraft running from a ramdisk, it ran nicely.
