Can you check the DNS record in your .ovpn file? I don't really know what happened but I am guessing it is using the DNS server in your profile but that might be a private IP.

If DoT works in my phone's private DNS settings and stays available at all times—even on cellular and WiFi with smooth resolution—then I wouldn’t even need AdGuard Home or its clients anymore...
