All of those seem like very valid use cases even with a really slow CPU. As long as it isn't oversold as much as Massivegrid did and it doesn't have a ton of CPU steal it should be useable.

I wonder if its worth risking upgrading my massivegrid virtuals. Last time I rebooted one I had to reboot it from their panel like 4 or 5 times before it actually came back.

Short version: @MassiveGRID repeated their dirty game.

TL;DR In the beginning the VDS was decent but it seems as soon as the nodes got fully occupied - or should I say crammed? - it turned into kind of a shit-box so typical for @MassiveGRID

I used racknerd for 3 years before that. And I didn't need secondary DNS because I didn't have a server outage during that time, not even once. If it weren't for their dirty IP addresses that get into

I can only recommend not dealing with MassiveGrid.
