Depending on your budget Delimiter has systems with upto 36 disks per system.

Delimiter $20 dedi would be my pick if you're going to hammer the i/o. Also one of the best networks for the price point.

Delimiter and Dacentec are fairly popular dedicated server providers for that budget, Delimiter with 2xE5420's and Dacentec with Opteron's.

They copied specs from the delimiter offer, which has an e200i onboard and single 500GB drive - but you can add an additional drive.
