They could easily sell your debt to a collections company in your country for them to pursue, by which time the fees will have mounted up.

Depends on your country, if they have agencies signed up there all they will do is pass the debt over for collection and leave it to them, the debt mounts up.

You won't be 'jailed' for owing a debt, I had no idea they enforce this stuff.
