@Randy Believe me, I am not here peddling SSL certificates, however pretty much everyone has asked me for a good deal on Wildcard SSL certificates. You can't find them on cheapssl.com at this price.

Wish I had read this before paying 15 dollars for a single SSL.... next time around I will buy one of those wildcard SSLs for ~40 instead, sounds like a much better deal if you can fork out the money.

Therefore it relies on the IP to know what certificate to send, and hence while using a wildcard you can use multiple domains on one IP because it will just send the wildcard for all of them.

But yeah, you can take a wildcard or server specific cert and install it for all the server services (exim, dovecot, pure-ftpd.... )
