Help Choosing a DMCA-Ignored Hosting Provider
hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice.
I run a website where I share paid 3D assets and Unreal Engine files for free. I’m looking for a hosting provider that won’t suspend my website, ideally a DMCA-ignored hosting provider.
I’ve shortlisted four providers: AlexHost, AvaHosting, SKRIME, and Shinjiru. However, AlexHost and AvaHosting have a lot of negative reviews on Trustpilot, while SKRIME and Shinjiru seem to have more positive reviews.
I’d appreciate your advice. Based on your experience, which of these hosting providers would be the best fit for my website? Have any of you used their services, and how reliable are they when it comes to uptime, support, and DMCA complaints?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Try something outside of the reach of US courts, like Flokinet.is in Iceland.
They don't advertise as DMCA ignored, but they have no obligation to adhere to US laws, and, while I'm a new customer, so I don't have much experience with them, I've heard they tend to ignore anything that isn't violating Icelandic laws specifically.
As for TLDs, use something Russian (like .su or .ru) or an offshore TLD like .st, .to, or .is. I personally have a .st domain registered at Flokinet.
Alexhost and Avahosting are same company
I dont think SKRIME ignores DMCA
I would choose Shinjiru
Thanks for your help. I’ve read the reviews on Trustpilot, and although some users have recently left negative reviews, I’ve reached out to the hosting providers directly. I’ll have to wait and see how they respond.
Thanks again for your help!
I had read in a post that they ignore DMCA notices, so I was probably mistaken. I’ll try to contact @SKRIME and ask them about it directly.
Thanks for your help!
Recommending a .ru domain for pirated assets is wild.
Strict KYC: Registering a .ru requires full identity verification via Gosuslugi (Russian government portal).
Instant suspension: The .ru registry coordinator revokes and drops domain delegation within 24 hours upon copyright requests without even needing a court hearing.
It’s literally the worst TLD you could pick for warez.
@alexhost
Personally I vouch, negative reviews? From who? Spammers?
If you don't spam and only have DMCA stuff, Alexhost are prem.
Flokinet is not huge fan of this (illegal warez site), it is more for fake reports

100-200Mbps port speed.
aeza maybe?
Do you use their services?
If so, how long have you been using them?
Have you ever experienced any service interruptions or downtime?
I couldn't find any information about their port speeds on their website, so I'll have to ask them about it. However, their services are quite expensive.
Thanks for your help!
Keep in mind that the vast majority of customers who are happy with a hosting company never leave a positive review. People who are satisfied simply get on with their day, so a page full of negatives does not mean the service is bad. It usually reflects the small minority who were suspended for policy violations and who post out of frustration.
DMCA-ignored providers are even more exposed to this. A share of customers come from outside the English-speaking market and read "DMCA ignored" as meaning anything goes, including phishing, fraud and scams. When those accounts are suspended, the review that follows rarely explains why (Most or all of our negatives reviews come from abusers who host phishing and confuse it with copyright complaints and we have to close their accounts. Such users don’t merit our friendly interactions…
You are welcome to judge for yourself. DM me here or via ticket on Hostcay.com and ask us for a free month VPS as a test. If you are happy, renew. If not, at least you will have my honest take on how reviews actually work
Thanks
Thank you for your honest and friendly advice. I've seen your offers on BlackHatWorld, but I want to know whether all the time and effort I put into my website could go to waste.
I won't be hosting the files on my own server. Instead, I'll be sharing links to file-hosting services such as MediaFire or MEGA.
That's why I'm concerned about my hosting provider suspending my website after I've invested a lot of time and effort into building it. I want to make sure I choose a provider that allows this type of website and understand the risks before committing to it.
Aeza for DMCA ignored is the funniest joke yet lmao. They will nuke your server and keep your money the minute the first copyright notice lands in their inbox. It’s the exact opposite of bulletproof. Also it’s overpriced.
Blyat, finally a russian speaker. Aeza is shit, they are semi-bulletproof.
Depends on the contact with them, if you pay more than few thousands, you are fine.
DMCA proof whatever.
To me they said all server port is 1Gbps shared, but in real life i got network connectivity issue. and port speed is limited to 100-200mbps.

Don't resellers avoid the KYC stuff?
But I didn't know about that instant suspension stuff; my apologies.
I think I should add this provider, @jayjay (MLNL.HOST) , to my shortlist because they offer DMCA-ignored hosting and servers.
buyvm as host proxy (using from jan 2025)
Don't use .su.. they're EOL. Dot Ru... Lol.
Won't .su be around until like 2035
Maybe... Maybe not. Why risk it when you can use other chap and reliable TLDs?
Fair enough, you're right.
Do you have permission to share those assets? Before paying for hosting, ask each provider how they handle copyright complaints. “DMCA ignored” doesn’t guarantee your site won’t be suspended. Keep your own backups too.
guys,
I've spoken to quite a few hosting providers.
I contacted SKRIME @SKRIME , and they told me they don't offer DMCA-ignored services.
I spoke with KohinoorHosting through their live chat, and they said they could host my website only if I purchased their Unlimited Hosting plan.
I contacted MLNL HOST ( @jayjay ), and they said they could host my website, but they only offer VPS plans for my needs, which would cost me $12 per month . That's too expensive for me.
I also contacted BuyVM through their live chat, but I haven't received a response yet. I think they might be closed for the weekend. On their website, the Website Hosting section redirected me to NameCrane . I submitted a support ticket to NameCrane, but I haven't received a reply from them either.
I also contacted YottaSRC . Although their website advertises DMCA-ignored hosting, they told me in response to my support ticket that they don't have any hosting providers or servers available for offering DMCA-ignored services.
I checked HostCay's @HOSTCAY hosting plans, but unfortunately, they offer limited bandwidth.
Their plan with 5 GB of storage and 500 GB of monthly data bandwidth costs €4 per month. Unfortunately, I need 15 GB of storage, so I'd have to choose their Standard Web Hosting plan, which costs €8 per month but still has a bandwidth limit of just 1 TB per month.
Unfortunately, that bandwidth limit could also be a problem for my website.
That leaves only three providers I haven't contacted yet: AlexHost, AvaHosting, and Contabo. However, Contabo only offers VPS hosting for what I need, and I really dislike using a VPS because of the extra hassle and potential hidden costs.
Unfortunately, AlexHost's @alexhost hosting plans are quite expensive, and I need at least 15 GB of storage. AvaHosting @AvaHosting offers plenty of storage, but I'm still unsure whether they're a suitable hosting provider for my website.
I really don't want to wake up one day and find that my account has been suspended without a clear reason. I'd appreciate any advice or recommendations from people who have experience with these providers.
DMCA means "US", but all providers have to obey the local law. If it's something big, you have to calculate carefully. if it is small, for example (fake) copyright notices from individuals or small law firms, then there are bigger market
In practice, there aren’t that many. All European companies, even those advertising themselves as based in neutral jurisdictions, cut you off within 24 hours, even if you provide a legally sound response showing that no EU, UK, or Swiss laws have been violated. They simply don’t want you as a customer and have no interest in reading your response or looking into the details. But they’re very happy to cut you off with less notice than their own ToS require.
In fact, there are too many to name.
when you place it behinds CF, then CF comes first, they'll forward to the providers, and mostly, providers do nothing, because who cares.
They only care if law enforcement comes to the scenes. When law enforcement come, almost noone can help.
So, @mtostar here is the real experience:
For uptime, every where (said 100% SLA) is just a promise, if 99.x SLA is good enough for you, then any providers, if 100% is required, then do fail over.
SKRIME is nice, but they said no to dmca, you can still use, but not suggested. alexhost is fine, except the CPU is bit weak, but it'll run just fine on most stack. AvaHosting, and Shinjiru, any name you see is just fine. I have been using a 2-star trust pilot for years. Most of the reviews is for bad supporting, or rude... Bad supporting is everywhere. Being rude, pointing hands, being toxic... are normal in third word countries. So, new norm! Pay monthly, and get ready to move anytime. Do NOT pay longer than that, even you are happy after a few months.
Put it behinds CF, read above.
SKRIME will not start to ignore the DMCA reports just because they come through CF, lol.
In practice, that’s not how it works. I run a file storage service behind Cloudflare. Cloudflare gives the complainant the origin IP address, and the hosting provider shuts you down within 24 to 48 hours, even when no laws have been broken and no legally valid documents have been provided. Any PDF with a letterhead, names, and phone numbers is always enough.
I’ve been dealing with this for a long time, and over the past few years, I’ve had two or three cases like this every quarter.
