don't do it, oversold++++++++
iirc this provider will chop your balls off if you use more than 2mb ram because it's so oversold
Not even Hetzner, Netcup, or Contabo have such crazy prices
You are almost 10 years on LET and you believe in such "offers"?
Well...
Thanks for the honest reviews. I guess its best to stay away from them. Their Ad kept on popping up on facebook and it was just too tempting
Hard pass. The feedback here is accurate.
Definitely best to stay away.
yes. they oversell. servers are slow.
and most important you can't use what you bought. Like out of 32GB RAM, not more than 6 GB as its shared and CPU steal is also high. Since you lock-in for 3-year prepayment ($133x3=$499) you can't cancel. no refund. Also the VPS is not even worth $133/yr if we consider the actual specs you will be using. Like forget about 8CPU here. Expect only 1 core usable in reality. For more you can read other users trustpilot reviews. And no one on LET will also recommend them. Many have tried them earlier.
Zenlayer, you can take a look. Our IP is clean, not oversold, and the discount is also quite reasonable
unless you are offering 32gb ram and 500gb ssd for $10/month, why spam?
Don't sell such low-quality and cheap products,I posted a comment just to give him one more option
I not sure if i'm lucky, but I have heard even from friends of such issues with SSDNodes so they exist.
but I've had a deal with them for way over 5 years now, I don't ever pin CPU but RAM & BW & SSD I take full use off and never had issues so I guess it's use-case, afterall they wouldnt be around without some consistent customers, and they can't always be using 5%.
(CPU is 100% problem to use lot of though but I have bursted to 100% a 30-40min a day every day0
I have one server there (in Dallas) for a 4 or 5 years. From some time there’s ~5% IOwait in top with only 40–50 Mbps of disk traffic, but otherwise, it’s just kept running the whole time. I have 64 GB of RAM, which is often 70-80% utilized without any issues, and the processor is fine, too. I pay about 200 USD a year for a 960 GB SSD, 64 GB of RAM, and 12 Xeon Gold cores. My plan also includes free snapshots. Even if the disk performance is far from ideal I’m not really complaining, especially considering the prices elsewhere.
The annual plan is reasonably priced, and you may be eligible for an additional discount or service credit if the provider fails to meet its SLA or uptime commitments.
Anyone know what networks they use? They offer bandwidth for same price as dallas and ddos protection in india, jp, sg, br, interesting
But also WTF: monthly subscription for API access
Most of their servers are in Hivelocity locations.
