VPS for torrenting

Hey all.

Looking for a VPS to host a VPN for torrenting among some other things. Currently the best option I found is Layer7 but I wanted to be sure they're good. Accepting any other suggestions too :)

Anything below like 7 euros a month with a dedicated IPv4 address works. Location doesn't matter.

Thank you all!

They all work so long as you have a port forwarding VPN. But NVMe storage generally better than spinning disks storage.

  • Remember to look at the ToS/AUP/FUP, some ban torrenting, some only allow legal ones, some doesnt care as long as they dont get DMCA/copyright/court orders.

Buy currently on promo from pulsedmedia (pick the 666special, if still available), 9.99€/year -> use vpn from any cheap europe vps in 'Offer' category in this forum.
PM by default provide wireguard & openvpn config. Also able to use docker (rootless, you provide config, it auto run). Free inbound bw, outbound depend on the package, hence I recommend the 666special since the outbound were 100tb / 30days (rolling count).

Everyone keeps only open sourced Linux ISOs for torrenting. Don't you even imply otherwise.

    How rude!

I found that 62 is available now. But, do you think Pulsed Media is trusty? (People complaint about their downtime and poor support)

for bulk torrents and your not hosting anything serious and its torrents like copyrighted content yeah good enough. Not seeding rare item that the ONLY copy in the world is on that seedbox ?

Me personally just take it & let it flow. At that pricing, it's already generous enough. See their regular pricing (other packages not listed on 'Eternal Vaina') & you'll understand what I mean.

    Hey @Zomka,

Torrenting and VPN use are fine with us. DMCA notices still get handled, they don't get ignored.

Our RYZEN 4G (DDR4) fits your budget at 4.99€/mo, or 4.49€/mo with code LET10. It has 2 cores on AMD RYZEN, 4 GB DDR4 RAM and 50 GB NVMe in RAID 1, plus a dedicated IPv4 and an IPv6 /64. If you want more RAM for the other things, the EPYC 8G has 2 cores on AMD EPYC Zen 3 Milan, 8 GB RAM and 50 GB NVMe for 6.99€/mo, or 6.29€/mo with LET10.

Traffic is unmetered with no monthly cap, on a 10 Gbps shared port, with DDoS protection on the IPv4. Since the port is shared, running the full line around the clock isn't allowed. We're at SkyLink Datacenter in Eygelshoven, Netherlands.

    Order: skri.me/ryzen5950X | skri.me/epyc
    Test IPv4: 77.90.60.30 | Test IPv6: 2a09:3f00:3000::cafe
    Looking Glass: skrime.eu/network / AS215365

Isn't it against the rules to talk about illegal torrenting here?

Against the rules to point out that it could be against the provider's rules......?
