DartNode VPSes rolled back to July?
Both my DartNode VPSes were down today and one just came back, but everything on it is outdated as if a snapshot was restored from July. Has this happened to anyone else?
I have backups of course, but I'm not very happy that it started up automatically, running old software with security vulnerabilities. If there was a storage failure on the node, I'd much rather it be restored in a stopped state.
I shut it down for now.

it doesnt look like it. Still consistent.
Mines are all good.
Strange. I'll open a ticket.
I was very confused seeing my monitoring system scream a warning that it's got dozens of critical security vulnerabilities, and even more confused when logging on and seeing

So it seems they know about it. They just never notified me.
I had opened a ticket awhile back for some routing issues and node slowness
Apparently they decided to combine the ticket with another.
@forest - They mentioned that the node had a drive failure and was going to have to reinstall all VMs. And good luck if you didn't have any backups. But they do include 3 free manual backup/snapshot slots.
As of yesterday October 14th 11:23pm CST the node is back online and redeployments are in progress.
I feel like this should have been better communicated to the people affected rather than having an already active ticket open.
I need to look if the routing issue been fixed or not...
Good that you have popped their name, i was wondering where the hell i was supposed to do chargeback, time is almost near end of period for their boston preorder
Well that's annoying. The only email I got was that they were having network infrastructure issues and were working on them.
