I built a free domain health-check tool — enter a domain, get a scored diagnostic report

Hi all,

I built a small free tool and thought some of you might find it useful:

https://tcp.lc/domain-check

Enter a domain and it generates a one-page health report: WHOIS info, DNS records, mail security (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), TLS/SSL config, security headers and web availability — with an overall score, grade and fix suggestions.

For example, lowendtalk.com scores 85/100, grade A:

It's free, no signup. Part of TCPLab (tcp.lc), a network toolbox I'm building for devs and sysadmins — IP tools, ping/port/SSL checks and a few others.

Happy to take feedback or bug reports here. Thanks!

Fair question. I built it for quickly checking my own and client sites (one page instead of jumping between 5 different tools), and figured others here running servers might find it handy. It's free, no signup — just sharing in case it's useful. Open to feedback.

My bug is working on it, report will be presented shortly

it's AI generated because it's an AI bug, you don't mind do you?

Nope, that's 100% human-made bad taste. AI would've gone with purple gradients.

What’s the point? You just ask cgpt, it will scan your website and will tell way more details + solutions to any problems.

  • Yes, the ai will detect your cancer, find bugs that aren’t there yet, providing solutions that cause more problems

    Win

  • Ok. I use this https://github.com/lissy93/web-check. Shows much more info.

How do you think you can detect DKIM without receiving an email from that domain?

  • This tool looks very useful! It is great to see all checks in one place.
Does it also show you how to fix the problems?

Thank you for your comment. I created this tool because I find it useful in my daily work, so I thought I'd share it in the hope that it might help others. It's meaningful to me, but I can't guarantee that it will be useful for all other users.

ChatGPT is indeed very convenient, but my tool has a faster scanning speed.

Thank you for sharing, which introduced me to this excellent tool.

This tool is definitely worth learning and referencing.

Thank you for your question. If the domain is not using a domain email, it will only show a notification without any penalty. The tool simply performs a DKIM check as well.

Thanks! Glad you find it useful — the report already includes fix suggestions for each issue it finds.
