@DK87 said: none of ai bot questions and suggestions was relevant to the issue.

They were relevant, as you provided additional tests that allowed our technical team to determine exactly where the issue was coming from instead of having to guess. More context is always helpful when troubleshooting an issue.

Regarding the Drop action, it simply drops anything that isn’t covered by the existing rules.

If anything comes up, feel free to update us through your ticket on the panel! :)

If anyone else is having issues setting up their Firewall Manager or is experiencing any other issues, feel free to reach out to us and we’ll do our best to help.

@DK87 said: timeout set to 1 is just accelerated "timed out" error output

Yes, I know it’s not ideal, but it’s an improvement. I’ve disabled it again for the time being, just to test it out.

@DK87 said: set the firewall to "Symmetric No Decetion" and left 53 udp port open.

Please let me know if it worked - I couldn’t get it to work. I tried the firewall settings ‘symmetric no detection’, ‘nlh symmetric’ and ‘no preset’ + open udp port 53, but none of them worked.

When I run ‘ping x.com’ (or curl etc), it takes 10 seconds for the first response to show up.

Thank you, I might come back to this in the next few days.

I have one more question @NolimitHost : When I renew manually, I see the discounted price of 7.49 euros for 3 months. With automatic renewal, however, it says 9.99 euros. Is that just a display error?

No worries! Yes, there was a display issue in our panel, which I forwarded to our technical team, and it has already been fixed.

Thank you so much for pointing that out! o:)

Hey! We already answered you in our Discord ticket but just to be sure:

We’re currently sold out of all Budget VPS plans, so we’ve enabled pre-orders for all Budget VPS packages. You won’t be able to manage the service until it has been deployed. Once it’s deployed, we’ll also add your freebie to the service. :)

We’ll deploy all pre-orders as soon as new stock becomes available. We’re already working on adding more capacity so we can return all Budget VPS plans to instant deployment as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!

Thanks for the update. Could you please share your settings? I can’t seem to get it to work.
    My firewall rules are:
Protocol: icmp, app: allow icmp, ip list: none
protocol: udp, app: any udp app, ip list: none, dest port: 53

    if i do mtr -r -u -P 53 -c 200 8.8.8.8 i have a loss about 30%, from another machine it is 0%

I’ve also opened a ticket in the meantime; I now understand your view on the AI support. In the meantime, a real member of staff did get in touch and advised me to configure the firewall, but that didn’t help me at all, and since then I’ve been getting lots of AI answers again. I hope a member of staff will get back in touch.

I've turned on firewall preset to Asymmetric DROP NOLIMIT, set the udp 53 port open, and dns resolving working good for now.

I've also done mtr test to google resolvers and no drops at all. So looks like it's local issue with your vps/node on it. I hope Nolimit support staff resolve your issue well!

!This message was corrected by AI!

I can’t recommend this provider, even though the service itself is fine. They recently carried out maintenance that restarted my server. Fair enough—maintenance happens. However, any reputable provider should automatically notify clients whose services could be affected, which did not happen here. Their support team’s response was:

    “
We have an option to enable email notifications for our maintenance announcements. We always announce planned maintenance in advance, both through our panel and on our Discord server.

This particular maintenance was announced on 29/09/2026, one week before it took place.

If you’d like to receive email notifications, you can enable them by clicking on your account in the bottom-left corner of the panel and going to Subscriptions. From there, you can enable all the notifications you’d like to receive, and we’ll notify you by email about them.

    ——————

This is purely preferential. We wouldn’t be sending out emails to everyone for every maintenance, especially when the maintenance does not affect every service. You are responsible for your own service, so you need to keep track of our updates and status page.”

The biggest issue is that restarting their hypervisor during maintenance also broke some customers’ services(fixed by manual restart from customer side) I only discovered that my service was down 11 hours after the maintenance had ended. Some of us host important services and who really checks panel every x days to see if maintenace is coming? And who would think that you need to manually subscribe to be notified about the outage via email..

Support wouldn’t acknowledge their mistake and acted like I was a pain in the ass.

Their invoices also appear to be missing several details required under Czech law, where the company is based.

Hello, the maintenance was announced on 29/09/2026 and took place on 07/10/2026, giving customers more than a week of advance notice. The maintenance was also posted on our status page on 29/09/2026, so the information was available for more than 24 hours before the maintenance took place.

We also announced the maintenance on our Discord server, status page, and LowEndTalk thread. The information was therefore publicly available through multiple channels well in advance of the maintenance.

As our support team explained, due to the nature of the upgrade, some VMs required a manual reboot after the maintenance for the changes to be fully applied. We understand that this may have caused inconvenience, but the maintenance itself was announced well in advance.

We provide email notifications for maintenance and other status updates as an optional subscription. The status page also supports Discord webhooks, allowing customers to send all of our status updates directly to their own Discord server. We don't force emails to every customer for every maintenance, especially when a maintenance may only affect specific services. Customers who want notifications can therefore choose email, Discord webhook notifications, or simply follow our public status page.

Regarding the invoices, these are generated through Stripe. We believe the required information is already included on the invoices, but if you believe something is missing, we are happy to look into it and include any additional information that is required. We are also open to any feedback regarding the invoice format.

We understand that the maintenance may not have been ideal for everyone, and we appreciate the feedback. Our goal is to provide multiple ways for customers to stay informed, while keeping notifications optional so customers can choose the method that works best for them.
