Hello,
I am looking for a reliable unmanaged dedicated/bare-metal server for long-term use.
The server will mainly be used for website hosting and legitimate email hosting, so please only offer a server/network where this type of usage is fully allowed.
Preferred specifications
CPU:
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
Similar Ryzen CPU may also be considered if the offer is good
RAM:
Minimum 64GB DDR4
ECC preferred but not mandatory
Storage:
Around 2TB NVMe
Plus 4TB HDD
RAID is preferred if available, but I can consider a good offer without RAID
Network:
Unmetered bandwidth is required
Minimum around 300–500Mbps unmetered
1Gbps unmetered preferred
Dedicated/unshared network port preferred
IP:
Minimum 1 IPv4
2 IPv4 preferred
The IP must have a clean reputation and should not be listed on major email blacklists
Email requirements
This point is very important.
I will use the server for legitimate website and email hosting.
Outbound SMTP must be allowed
Port 25 must be open
No SMTP relay restrictions that would prevent normal mail-server operation
The assigned IP should have a clean email reputation
PTR/rDNS must be available
Normal hosting-related email usage must be permitted by the provider's AUP
I am not looking for bulk/spam email services.
Location
Only interested in:
Netherlands, preferably Amsterdam
Canada
Server management
I need a completely unmanaged dedicated server.
I do not need managed hosting, server administration, cPanel management, or software management from the provider.
However, I do expect the provider's technical support to be responsive when there are infrastructure-related issues such as:
Hardware failure
Network problems
IP/network issues
KVM or remote-access problems
Server reboot or power-related problems
Fast and reliable support is important to me.
Other requirements
AlmaLinux 8 or AlmaLinux 9 support
Full root access
KVM/IPMI or remote console preferred
Monthly billing only
PayPal payment preferred
No setup/installation fee
Hosting websites for customers must be allowed
Long-term usage
Older Ryzen hardware or currently unused/idle inventory is completely acceptable as long as the server is reliable and meets the requirements.
Budget
Preferably around $40–50/month, but I am open to reasonable offers depending on the exact CPU, storage, network and IP quality.

Before throwing random numbers into a request thread, it might be worth checking the dedicated server market — or even this very forum.
Just 12 days ago, DediSpec offered here on LowEndTalk:

And during the December 2025 LET deals, there was an actual DediSpec offer for:

Someone here even confirmed that they successfully ordered that server.
So no, a Ryzen 3900X server in the $40–50 range is not some imaginary number that needs to be “times 4”.
Obviously Netherlands/Canada, additional storage, clean IP reputation, SMTP/Port 25 and other requirements can affect the final price. That is exactly why this thread is in the Requests section: I am asking providers what they can offer and I am open to reasonable offers depending on the configuration.
I never said every provider must sell me the exact configuration for $40.
If a provider has older Ryzen inventory, idle hardware, or a custom deal, they are welcome to make an offer and we can discuss it.
If you have an actual offer or useful market information, I'm happy to hear it.
But if you're not familiar with the dedicated server market and have nothing to offer, please don't present random guesses as facts. It adds nothing useful to a request thread.
The providers who actually operate in this market can speak for themselves.
Disk prices, I guess? 2TB NVme itself would cost your budget, and you are asking + 4TB hdd. Be real
Also times 4 was a joke, but you clearly need to increase your budget. Probably double that.
I think the challenge here is the cost of IP transit in Canada, and for the Netherlands, the cost of electricity...
That's fair, and I understand that Canada may have higher transit costs and the Netherlands has higher power costs compared with some US locations.
My $40–50 budget is mainly a preferred starting point based on previous Ryzen 3900X deals I've seen here on LET, not an absolute hard limit.
I'm open to reasonable offers if a provider can get close to the requested configuration, especially if they have older Ryzen hardware or idle inventory.
The main priorities for me are Netherlands or Canada, reliable hardware/network, unmetered bandwidth, clean IPs, Port 25 allowed for legitimate mail hosting, and responsive infrastructure support.
So if any provider has something close, even if the price is somewhat above my preferred range, I'm happy to consider it.
