Is Bmail.ag having authentication issues? Unable to log in or register
Hi everyone,
Is anyone else currently having issues with Bmail.ag?
I'm unable to log in to my existing account. The login page returns the following error:
deserialize KE2: invalid OPRF evaluation
I also tried creating a new account to rule out an account-specific issue, but registration fails as well.
The main website itself is accessible, so this appears to possibly be related to their authentication/registration backend rather than the entire service being offline.
I've already tried different browsers/networks, but the issue persists.
Can anyone using Bmail confirm whether login or registration is currently working for them?
Just trying to determine whether this is a temporary service-side issue or something specific to my connection/account.

I think it is a little funny they use

In theory, the US authorities can use existing law to force Cloudflare to replace the api.js with code that can sniff username and password during signup.
Since the site don't work, I don't know if they have made similar mistakes inside the app, but their marketing examples in the bottom of https://bmail.ag/ kind of look stupid when they dont add a SRI hash to external scripts.

Everything Bmail does seems to be wrong.
I mean, I appreciate the cock.li-esque shitposting domains they offer, but all their security claims are bogus and should get them removed from LET's advertising roster. They aren't anything but a straight-up scam.

Hello Loky , Im having the exact same problem. It has also happened to me before in the past. Bmail.ag is great for making a new quick throwawail email adress because no verification is needed. But there are obviously a lot of problems. One time I also was unable to delete my email adress and/or even change the password, that is unacceptable for a service that claims to priorize privacy in my opinion.
Also the site is often very slow to load. So wouldnt recommend anyone to use bmail.ag as their primary email adress (until they fix all their problems maybe).
So your not the only one having problems with bmail.ag. and its not specific to your connection/account.

Yeah that was more original point actually, why is this forum not vetting ad's at all? I wanted for same reason, but the obvious lies actually floored me I thought surely they don't believe this themselves?

Yes, I actually discovered this service through an ad on the right-hand side of LowEndTalk. I honestly didn’t expect the product to be this immature.

That's not even the worst part. The worst part is that their security claims are completely bogus and, like bmail, revolve around SGX enclaves.
