    Yes only can get the 2x RAM upgrade or to change to x2 bandwidth works too either one.

    My reading of it is that it can't stack, but you could choose a different upgrade instead (1.5x RAM though there's no reason you'd want that, 2x monthly transfer, or 150 Mbps extra port speed).

    Hi Motion, no unfortunately. The 10 Mbps unmetered was the old configurable option. It will be removed at later stage. It only applies to normal bandwidth like for example
    300 Mbps + 150 Mbps = 450 Mbps @ 1T/2T and so on.

    Could you clarify what latency you were expecting toward the US and Europe from Malaysia?

    From the ping.pe results, we're currently seeing approximately 188–195 ms toward Los Angeles, ~207 ms toward Chicago, ~220–230 ms toward parts of the US East Coast, while many European locations are around 160–185 ms.

    For a network physically located in Malaysia, these figures are generally within the expected range considering the geographic distance and international submarine cable paths involved.

    There are certainly a few individual probes showing less optimal routes, and we're continually reviewing our upstream routing and peering to improve those wherever possible.

    If you have a particular destination/network you're concerned about, feel free to provide an MTR or traceroute and we'll be happy to investigate that specific path.

    There are certainly a few individual probes showing less optimal routes, and we're continually reviewing our upstream routing and peering to improve those wherever possible.

    If you have a particular destination/network you're concerned about, feel free to provide an MTR or traceroute and we'll be happy to investigate that specific path.

    Thanks for the reference! From what we can see, the overall latency is actually quite similar, with some locations being slightly higher or lower depending on the destination and upstream path.

    Since a large portion of international traffic from Malaysia is carried through Singapore before continuing onward, a difference of roughly 10 ms or so between a Singapore-hosted network and a Malaysia-hosted network would generally be expected. Beyond that, the result can vary quite a bit depending on the upstream provider, peering arrangements, return path, and the particular network being tested.

    May I know what latency you were personally getting, or which specific US/EU destinations you found noticeably better on the reference network?

    I've not rented any hosting outside of the USA and after observing the SVR4U site and your offer and upkeep of it I'd like to start.

    I'm aware of KYC, but haven't been exposed to the process. Would that be automatic?

    I'd connect for the transaction(s) without vpn and would call my credit card hotline to let them know it's me ahead of time to avoid those sort of snags.

    We have an automated fraud-prevention system that performs the initial checks when an order and payment are submitted. In most cases, if everything passes normally and there are no unusual risk indicators, the order can proceed without any additional verification.

    KYC may only be requested if our automated checks flag the order for further verification or if we need additional information to confirm the transaction. So it is not necessarily something every customer will have to go through.

    Connecting without a VPN during the order process is definitely helpful, as it allows the billing location, IP location, and payment information to remain consistent. Letting your card issuer know about the international transaction beforehand may also help prevent the payment from being declined on their side.

    If the system does request any additional verification, we'll let you know exactly what is required.
