Hi,
Looking for a cheap storage VPS in EU..
Here are my specs and budget:
Storage: 1TB (HDD is fine, don't need NVMe)
Location: Europe (EU)
Budget: Around ~$20/year
Specs: Any RAM/CPU config is fine..
I will run MinIO for S3-compatible storage..
Let me know if any providers have active promos or can create a custom invoice for this..

Yes, I edited it. My messages keep getting cut in half when I send them for some reason, so I always have to edit them afterward. Half of the text just vanishes upon posting.

But the problem with DediRock is that their servers are in the US, while I specifically need one in the EU...
I already have around three VPS S3 servers, and I want a fourth one just to give me peace of mind that my files are stored in different locations around the world..
The total size of all my websites is only around ((80 GB)), and I would probably keep around 10 retention points.
Since the S3 process is (incremental) for files, the total amount of data stored on the VPS should be no more than around 250 GB throughout the month..
However, I’m thinking of getting 1TB for future use, just like I did with my servers..
Did you mean EU as in Europe? Or just somewhere in the EU region, like the Netherlands?
go for pulsedmedia and try to run minio docker and let me know im also trying to setup minio in a low-end chicken .
I think 1TB at 20$ a year is not possible in current market conditions. If you can lower ur requirements to maybe like 256GB you have alphavps, or maybe look for a cloud storage provider with rclone support....

PulsedMedia is very expensive for me, and they charge monthly rather than annually..
I’ll wait for two days..
If I can’t find anything, I’ll go with a smaller storage capacity, because all my websites are only around 80 GB in total anyway..

The cheapest one I found on PulsedMedia is €8/month, which comes to around €100/year.

Check here for PulsedMedia deals. Full disclosure, I have 2 seed boxes that are on higher tiers than these, and qbittorrent goes into uninterruptable sleep pretty much constantly. If you can deal with a lot of contention, you won't find a better deal. For the use case you've described, I think you'll be happy with the 1tb seedbox plan.

What kind of app are you running?
If S3 only, mount the storage box onto a cheap VPS over SFTP (sshfs or rclone mount), then run MinIO on the VPS pointed at that mount. if budget is tight, it's worth trying just go in knowing it'll be slow and needs babysitting.

You can try AlphaVPS, but at 256GB storage. Or ChunkServe Storage 2 (1TB HDD with SSD cache), but it's currently out of stock. Maybe you need to increase the budget. I think paying a little more per month is best, without committing to a full year payment.
@Pjottertjah - hstprov gives some S3 🙄 100GB at €0.50 EUR ( Note this is Storage Box pricing ), and I think they can give you S3 too, just ask them. In the EU that might be an option.

Maybe it's a bit over budget, but honestly it's the best deal out there right now, especially with prices going up everywhere these days. Won't find much better than this tbh. And if you do find something cheaper, good luck cause that's usually when your data just vanishes on you
I would like to buy the deal but the monthly bandwidth is so limited. I need to upload weekly backups so this would mean twice a month backup upload and no way to retrieve

@MagdAlmuntaser it's not vps, just reguler linux user shell access with large space, basically. Unlimited inbound but chocked on outbound after few gigs (depend on the package). can do docker but it might by limited by allowed max memory per user (very very low, also depend on what package). Just treat it like regular file storage and it will be fine.

I installed (rustfs), the alternative to MinIO, and pointed my DNS to this seedbox..
The results were excellent..
I will use it for another four days, and if it remains stable, I will take a one year plan..
