Seeking help regarding Gorillaservers

I placed an order with Gorillaservers, but it was flagged as fraudulent. I submitted a support ticket but haven't received a response from customer service. What should I do?

Its the weekend, give a few days when its over the weekend. Most companies billing and CS are office hours while support will be 24/7

    Hello,

I saw your other post that you had already got a service active. What is the Ticket # you are referring to in this thread? I want to make sure everything is properly settled.

    Thanks!

Send a message to support. They flagged your order as fraudulent because you might have purchased it using a VPN IP address, or your IP address had a lot of spam. That’s just how WHMCS’s false-positive system works.

Your order should be resolved as soon as support reviews it. It happened to me, Once, I forgot to turn off the VPN.—they asked for documents like my ID, fingerprint, and so on. I sent them flying and opened a dispute through PayPal.

So, before they can process a refund you dispute it?

The easy way to get listed in anti fraud databases and blacklisted by a lot of providers in a few easy steps.

If I accept their unfair terms, users’ rights will be trampled on. Supply and demand: there are many better providers, so I switched to another one, but in the end I went back ol' reliable. ChicagoVPS. That was back in 2014... It's surprising that the WHCMS detector is still malfunctioning.

I don't think anybody asked you for a fingerprint. That's a weird thing to claim

  • tzulitzuli Member

Maybe you're confused about digital/browser fingerprints... but that wouldn't make sense either

In some countries, the ID card has a fingerprint on the back, and the provider required both sides; it would not accept just one side.

Ok. Were you talking about GorillaServers KYC or some other host?

It was somewhere else; I don't even remember the name anymore. All I know is that he was using WHMCS.

This is the type of dispute I fight and win since then. You are in breach of PayPal’s policy. A number that acted in this way soon hit out again afterwards advising their PayPal account had been limited.

By using PayPal you agree to allow any seller a certain amount of time to resolve any issues, once PayPal become aware you are not keeping to that (creating them much extra unnecessary work) the account is put on a tmebomb list, next dispute and account is finished.

Money loses value over time, so if someone holds onto your money for a week, you are effectively losing value in terms of opportunity cost. If the supplier fails to complete the delivery, they should refund the money immediately.

By the way, I did get my money back through PayPal. The supplier refunded me as soon as he saw that I had opened a dispute, because at that point it was already affecting him financially. Back then, under PayPal’s policies, having an open dispute could result in payments being frozen or restricted as a way to protect other customers.
