A question. My Sydney VPS went down ~1.5h ago and it is [supposedly] High Availability. How does HA work, if it is down for that long?

P.S. I went to the panel and forced restart, now it works but still strange...kinda not HA.

Maybe it wasn’t a hypervisor problem? Maybe just your VPS crashed?

    I replied to the ticket.

Kernel panics do not cause the VM to get restarted by HA as they hang the guest indefinitely (unless configured otherwise with kernel.panic parameter). From the hypervisor point of view, the VM was still in running state.

However the cause of kernel panic in your case is something we need to investigate.
    Sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

  • I just migrated some services to Onidel Singapore location over the weekend, and I have been very impressed. The support is incredibly fast and the hardware is excellent.

I am definitely considering moving more of my services over. Since Singapore's National Day is coming up, I was wondering if you will be having any special promotions or offers? ;)

btw efforts of @oloke in various communities have made me signed up for the service. <3

    Hi,

    Thanks for kind words!
I'm really sorry to say this, but it's unlikely we will be able to offer large discounts in Singapore this time :(

  • A question for pan @oloke There is Measured boot API where I can upload UKI. Is it possible to enable/disable Measured boot via API? I did not find it in the docs, so I presume it is not possible but wanna double check.

    Hi John,

You may use attach / detach endpoints to enable or disable measured boot on a VM.

Oh, I missed those. Maybe it would be slightly better to keep all Measured Boot endpoints under one heading (you already have Measured Boot Images). Muchas gracias.

@oloke , it seems MEL isn't listed on the Global infrastructure card.
