Some benchmarks, not that many cores, but might still be interesting. Around 20% higher multi core divided by single core score for the 16 core VPSes, less for the 6 core servers.

Maybe finally better at judging multi-core then

Although this is such a hard thing to measure because very few programs scale with 0 drawbacks across 16 cores, so it would be quite misleading if GB did, exactly how well it should scale I guess is up for debate

Not quite apples to apples as the GB 5 and 6 scores were taken when the machines were first installed, the GB 7 scores are on live servers.

It's good and bad at same. They always increase the RAM requirement with every new version (now 4GB). Most of my "standard" VPS has 2GB or under 2GB RAM. :)
But luckily the old versions (v6, v5, v4) also works.

Yep it has a lot of false positives. Try typing etc/passwd but with a leading slash!

Will geekbench 7 work with 2GB RAM + 2GB swap?

Adding swap severely reduces the accuracy of the benchmark if the system actually begins swapping.

When I run geekbench, it's for the sole purpose of offering results on LET.

Somewhat hit and miss if 4/5 complete when 6 fails. I imagine that 7 means less results to post.

I don't bother with geekbench on bare metal and will probably opt for yabs -g moving forward since I'm mainly interested in the spec summary and iperf3 results.
