Hello!
I'm looking for a dedicated server. (Again, because I haven't found a suitable one)

Requirements:

Location:
Hong Kong
Server type:
Dedicated server
No VPS / VM

CPU:
At least performance no worse than E-2236 (Multi-thread performance)
Both Intel and AMD are welcomed

RAM:
Minimum 16GB RAM
ECC memory preferred

Storage:
At least 480GB SSD or 2TB RAID HDD

Network:
300Mbps Unmetered / 1Gbps with 5TB+ (No China-Optimized needed)

IPv4:
1 IPv4 address

Billing:
Monthly billing preferred
Reasonable setup fee only

Please provide:

CPU model (and number, if dual)
RAM amount and type
Disk space and type
Port speed and bandwidth
Monthly price
Setup fee (if any)
Stock status and deployment time
Test IPv4

Budget is flexible, but I am mainly looking for good value offers.
Public offers around $70+/month are a bit high for my use case, so discounted/custom offers are welcome.

Hello, I wonder that you only have E3 for this price range?? I would say the CPU would be a negative point. And when coming to higher-end CPU, it seems too over budget.

I appreciate your help, but it seems like that you didn't carefully read my post. I would require a CPU with multi-thread performance better than E-2236 and have at least 200M Unmetered

Probably not going to happen inside your budget. I mean, $50 is not nothing but this is Asia and you aren't really looking for a low budget CPU. Unmetered and Asia in the same sentence is also something that's going to cost you. I fear you'll either have to adjust your budget or your expectations.

Fine and then I will go with the one that I previously saw and still in stock. Thanks anyway.

I see. If all you care about is multicore performance that's obviously better than those E3s. Still a good bit below E-2236 in multicore and singlecore it's almost different worlds.

Oh, true. Well that's just crazy. Won't help with singlecore but multicore is massive. That's quite the deal you found there!

Two levels below single-homed cogent. I wouldn't say a deal but you get what you pay for.

Yeah, network might not be exactly great but the box is pretty nice. I mean, 20 cores/40 threads, ~22800 multicore passmark is nothing to scoff at. Only ~1700 singlecore though, which is kinda weak.

    Not cogent only. :)
