What are your opinion on HostSlim

edited July 2 in Help

Hi,

I’m looking for some feedback on HostSlim’s services, specifically regarding their Netherlands (NL) location.

While I’ve encountered concerns being discussed here on LET; regarding their Estonian infrastructure, I’m wondering if the NL nodes offer a more reliable experience.

Has anyone had success with their performance or support stability in the NL data center?

Are they reliable

Got a PM; the user wanted to be anonymous.

For update for rest of the people; I asked Gemini to summarised the message while witholding any revealing information of the said user.

I strongly advise against using this provider, especially if you intend to resell services.
My experience over the past four years has been defined by extreme frustration due to their lack of professional support and administrative negligence. Communication is consistently poor; they are unreachable by phone, and support tickets often go ignored for long periods or receive only dismissive, short replies that ignore SLA failures and valid concerns.
Throughout my time with them, I have dealt with recurring issues with IP ranges, uncommunicated datacenter migrations, and even physical mistakes within the DC (involving fan, inlets, power cords, etc // masked the actual mistake they highlighted so as not to pinpoint info that'd lead to them).
They simply lack the reliability required for a professional partnership, and while the pricing remains low, the constant struggle to manage basic operations and get a response regarding my own hardware makes them a service I cannot recommend.

Also learn to quote. I only saw your reply to me by accident since you didn't tag me.

Lol avoid it bro. If you want to waste money just give it to me, why buy junk?

I'll send you my paypal id (will dm if required) if you want to send me some money. I'll take it all in USD. The end result is the same: you will spend money and get nothing lol. I am not even sure if you buy on Hostslim they will deliver at this point. Just avoid it, and if you want, my paypal is always ready. Crypto accepted as well but will take a 2% additional convenience fee 😉

They seem to support a bunch of DirectAdmin plans rn; with unlimited databases/bandwidth/backups, but given the issues they have, you can expect unlimited troubles as well.

I wouldn't trust them to actually deliver or keep the hardware running.

Seen them before. On Website it says 20.000+ customers but on bgp.he.net and bgp.tools they look very very small like one men operation. Fishy overall

    Ofc; for the troubles.

PS: Apparently 1 user has good experience; I am surprised.

Hypothetically speaking; How likely that it is @VPSSLIM himself ??

I'm idling some shared hosting plans with them. Been ok ish for some stuff, it's ridiculously cheap.

Never had much downtime except for when they renumbered the shared node ips and didn't send out the new IP.

    Wouldn't put production on it.

  • Don't use that, he scam me €115 give wrong type of Server wrong DC and don't notice to client, I just checking IP location and asking for refund but He was very evasive, making excuses to postpone the payment and never returning it. That's Ralph.
