highly optimized anycast transit
any being the keyword, you'll probably end up god knows anywhere
@gatewaysentryllc , are you, or at least your CEO Andy, still denying involvement with bytefend, botfront and limeshosting? No trolling here, just a straight up question.
I think Andy has decided not to respond to posts that oppose his opinions anymore; in other words, to facts.
We claimed direct connection due to the fact that we are on Sharktechs network directly and utilize there bare metal instances for Scrubbing, they announce our ASN on our behalf.
I understand your reasoning and will reword and rephrase previous statements.
We have gotten it cleared up and explained our situation.
So has this been addressed?
Yes, it has been addressed multiple times, and have already stated our CEO has no affiliation nor involvement in any of those platforms.
Our CEO has provided clear evidence that he is not the same person as what the users claimed, therefore our tag was restored from the suspended status.
We'll see about that
That alone is a dealbreaker.
@gatewaysentryllc Why this upstream, when you know your customers will have their data sold?
Hello Forest,
We have responded to these statements ages ago regarding this,
1 - They don't sell user data, We had a very long and structural conversation with the CEO prior to migration, we are heavily integrated to maintaining user privacy.
2 - They only supply data to there DDoS Mitigation partners to block attacks
(This does not contain customer data but just generic connection information to check for wrong doings)
3 - We now also have @vsys_host as one of our upstreams.
I understand your concerns, if you have anymore questions ask away we are here to respond.
Which is exactly what they're allegedly selling
"Selling" data is such an easy allegation to make, all of these statements so far is based off speculation rather than facts.
We have strict data processing procedures.
The 5-tuple for every connection, timestamps, and packet sizes. Team Cymru sells this to various governments and it is useful for performing website fingerprinting attacks and deanonymization attacks.
See https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/215525/upstream-provider-sharktech-linked-to-data-broker-team-cymru-selling-netflow-data/p1 and https://www.vice.com/en/article/us-military-bought-mass-monitoring-augury-team-cymru-browsing-email-data/.
While @gatewaysentryllc may have strict data processing procedures, their upstream (one of their two upstreams, at least) has provided high-precision information about customers' network connections to a company that resells that data.
For clarification, I am not arguing that you are selling customer data personally.
Yes I understand those posts, but we've spoken to the CEO personally,
We believe in his transparency and his teams transparency as they have VERY strict data processing policies with us and many users on there platform.
Understood, We keep our users data safe and will not disclose any information about the services they run and or .. well just about anything they do unless ordered by a court within US Jurisdiction.

One of the worst experiences I ever had.
I choose them because they offered a nice price, and after i researched they seemed ok.
We have tried 3 different servers
AMS, CHI and LAX as VDS.
In Europe, it was clown show. People from Belgium and Amsterdam itself had over 100 pings, Spanish or Polish people had ping spikes to 200+ (talking about a game server)
Their Chicago server could not handle only 1 player and people that is close to Chicago had 55ms while they normally have 20ms around.
I believe they will reply to me saying some allll these technical explanations and that they have no mistake.
Yeah, sure. Worst experience ever. DO NOT GET CLOSE FOR THEIR VDS SERVERS EVER!
Oh also they do not have refund policy even though they ruin the service. I will try to see what I can do about it.
If anyone get curious about them and wanna make sure I am not lying can pm me and i can show all details
Okay, I told something wrong here.
I said "I researched and they seemed ok"
Lol! apperantly i didnt. Now i am reading comments and these guys far away from being professionals and ex ddossers. Andy has sweet tongue and can talk to you about anything.
They have the same mitigation issues people talked here
Spanish people connect to Chicago before pinging to AMS ๐ ๐ ๐
Never ever get close to these guys!
p.s andy i gave you all my main ipv4 for OVH try taking it down
