  If the goal is backup with no specific computing needs, I would first choose the access model/protocols you actually need: plain storage box, object storage, or a storage VPS with root access. Those are different about price model (monthly/hourly/space), and they behave very differently once you care about rsync/rclone workflow, restore speed and bandwidth limits.

  For 5TB+ I would compare four things before price alone: real monthly egress, sustained transfer speed, protocols support, and (probably the most important one) what happens when you need a large restore rather than a small daily sync. That usually helps narrow the field faster than comparing headline disk size only.

  These are directadmin servers which would have FTP Based remote backups . That is why i mentioned my Interserver backup storage too . Important part is restore speed and hence i emphasized on the location.
