HyperNex Hosting is now VPSLAYER

edited April 11 in Providers

Hi LET Community! :)

We’ve officially rebranded today at 03:00AM (UTC+2): HyperNex Hosting is now VPSLAYER.

After months of Google basically ignoring our website, we decided it’s time for a change.
The name "HyperNex" is used by way too many unrelated companies, plus there’s a old Trustpilot profile with bad reviews that isn’t even us BUT negatively impacted us. That created confusion and likely hurt indexing.

Another possible factor was our old .cc domain. This was not ideal, so we moved to a cleaner and more fitting brand.

Overall, I am convinced that a better future is possible with this branding, which is why we are pushing this change 100% forward.

New Website:
https://www.vpslayer.net/

Does anything change?

No. Everything stays the same.

  • Same Infrastructure
  • Same Pricing
  • Same Services
  • No Migration
  • No Downtime

Your Services continue running exactly as before.

Our Services (basically unchanged)

We continue offering:

My first thought reading this is when will @layer7 and @Vpslayer collab now xD? (You guys should definitely partner up for a layer deal, heck have a deal where if you buy one company's server, you get discounts in the other and a double layer deal!!)

If you find this idea interesting, Maybe give me a free vps server too and thank me if you feel generous or are helped xD

Yeah that being said, I hope you good luck VPSLayer within the market, friend! Hope the new name brings you a good time within the market for the future!

US flag = US provider / US target market / US centrism.

Honestly, probably just not having a flag.
I'm not trying to cause problems :) It's just that I went to the site, saw US flag for English, and my immediate thought was that it is an US-based provider, possibly targeting US users.

Fair point, but what alternative do we have? Small flags as a symbol of a language looks compact and intuitive.

It's not that intuitive for me as a non-American. I often see US flag for USD currency.

    Ok then...
It is actually possible to deal with more than one thing at a time.
I can't say I care that much, but a web host that might stand to lose business might.

I'll thank you, though. You just perfectly demonstrated why I barely ever leave comments anywhere on the internet. There's always someone ready to argue, insult, or generally be antagonistic. I await your next masterpiece with bated breath!

  • Congratulations for the rebrand!

ah interesting, i always smile when its the brit flag cuz they may have started english but i'm not sure what they speak now counts as english anymore tbh. i want to say you might be reading too much into it (us-centrism) but i'm in the usa so maybe i'm oblivious!

I certainly might be! I mean no offence by it! I'm probably just hyper-focusing on something as usual!

Yooo you both should definitely partner up ASAP. German hosting ftw! Love both of you gys and wish you both and it would be wholesome if you guys create a layer collab deal. I think the community is gonna love it! (I recommend dm'ing each other to create the collab) Good luck to both of you for hosting business and hope a collab can be made!

Dude @heron is a chill guy and you just provoked them out of no reason This is a bit wrong to be honest, hey man, I hope that you think about it and also, yeah, I suggest not saying these things. Honestly, you should take a few days off from LET or twitter, sometimes drama and toxicity can make us ourselves toxic I guess

And we shouldn't make it harder for other people to comment. Hope this helps ya mate and have a good day!

    This made me sad :-((

For what its worth, I hope that you know that there are/will be always more people who appreciate you for being yourself and typing what your thoughts are than people who might dislike it. In a world of shitty AI slop, reading Human thoughts make me happy :-D

The flag is really just there to indicate the language. But ill see if i can find something more suitable :-)

And he's not wrong either .. I would personally associate the US flag by switching to us currency/subsidiary.

Not a big issue but its not the best pick for us EU weirdos :)
