    I played with the server a little more today, and found two weird things.

    IPv6 subnet

    The control panel shows a single IPv6 address.
    DHCPv6 gives a different IPv6 address.

    • Use the DHCPv6 address: works.
    • Use the address from IPv6 privacy extension: works.
    • Manually assign the address from the control panel: works.
    • Manually assign a random address in the same /64: works.
    • Manually assign the ::1 address in the same /64: dadfailed.
    • Manually assign an address in a different /64: unreachable.

    It seems that the hypervisor has a /64.
    All the KVM servers are simply bridged to the subnet and there's no filtering.

    UptimeRobot

    Provider has a public UptimeRobot status page.
    However, when I add the IPv4 or IPv6 of my KVM server to UptimeRobot, it shows as Down.

    I see ping traffic from 2607:ff68:107::39 that belongs to UptimeRobot, but I cannot ping them.
    Both Hostnamaste and UptimeRobot are located in Limestone Dallas, and the packet seems misrouted:
