[WTB] Budget KVM VPS: India Preferred / SG or EU Considered, 2–4 vCPU, 4–8GB RAM, $7–10/mo

Hi everyone!

We're looking for a reliable independent provider, homelab operator or small host for our platform

Requirements:

  • Location: India preferred (any city). Singapore welcome; Europe considered if latency to India is reasonable.

  • Virtualization: KVM (Proxmox, Virtualizor or similar), Docker support required.

  • CPU/RAM: 2–4 vCPU, 4–8 GB RAM. Modern EPYC/Ryzen preferred.

  • Storage: 60–80 GB SSD/NVMe.

  • Network: Public IPv4 preferred, or reliable inbound connectivity. 500 GB+ monthly transfer.

  • Access: Root SSH access required. Separate developer accounts and MFA preferred.

  • Backups: Provider snapshots/backups appreciated; we can maintain our own off-site backups.

  • Budget: $7–10/month (roughly ₹700–₹1,000). Prefer monthly billing with a short trial, potentially continuing for 12 months or longer.

Happy to consider spare capacity on dedicated servers, small independent providers or reliable homelabs.

Please share your CPU model, location, network details, test IP/Looking Glass, storage type and monthly price.

Thanks!

    Hey!

We can offer a couple of options from our Premium VPS lineup in Brussels, Belgium, powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X:

    4GB RAM — $6/month

    6GB RAM — $9/month

Both are available with code LETSPECIAL50 at $1.50/GB/month.

    Location: Brussels, Belgium
    Datacenter: Digital Realty BRU1
    Test IPv4: 87.76.193.4

You can view our available plans and full specifications here: https://enderhost.co/vps

Belgium isn't quite as close to India as Singapore, but it may be worth considering if the latency works for your use case. Feel free to test connectivity using the IP above!

Buy it directly from BelgiumVM instead of this reseller lol https://belgiumvm.be/ryzen-vps

    Hey @Techymon,

To be upfront, we're not in India or Singapore. Our only location is SkyLink Datacenter in Eygelshoven, Netherlands, so it comes down to whether the latency to India works for you. You can check that with the test IP below.

Our RYZEN 8G has 2 cores (AMD RYZEN 9 5950X or 5900X, DDR4), 8 GB RAM, 100 GB NVMe in RAID 1, 1 IPv4 and an IPv6 /64. It's 8.99€/mo, or 8.09€/mo with code LET10. Paid for 12 months it comes to 7.28€/mo with LET10. If 4 GB RAM is enough, our EPYC configurator gives you 2 cores (AMD EPYC Zen 3 Milan), 4 GB RAM and 80 GB NVMe for 7.19€/mo, or 6.47€/mo with LET10.

Both are KVM with full root access, so Docker runs fine. Billing is monthly with no commitment, and our support can set up a 3-day test server first. Traffic is unmetered with no monthly cap, on a 10 Gbps shared port.

    Order: skri.me/ryzen5950X | skri.me/epyc-config
    Test IPv4: 77.90.60.30 | Test IPv6: 2a09:3f00:3000::cafe
    Looking Glass: skrime.eu/network / AS215365

Hey, thanks for the detailed offer!

The Ryzen 8 GB VPS at €8.09/month sounds interesting. We'd definitely like to try the 2day test server.

Could you confirm whether the test VM will have the same CPU, RAM, storage and networking as the actual paid plan?

We'll mainly test latency to India, Docker performance, WebSockets and disk I/O.

If everything checks out, we'd be interested in monthly billing.

Hi! I'm interested in your Mumbai CloudVPS Special #3 at €20.64/year, possibly #4 for the extra RAM and storage.

Before ordering, could you confirm a few things?

    1. The checkout says WebWerks Mumbai and VMware ESXi, while your LowEndTalk offer mentions Iron Mountain. Which infrastructure is this plan actually on?
    2. Since the August ransomware incident affected your VMware nodes, what backup and recovery protections are in place now?
    3. We're hosting a chess web app using Docker, PostgreSQL, WebSockets and occasional Stockfish engine analysis. Is that allowed under your CPU fair-use policy?
    4. Your terms prohibit VPN/proxy services. Is private Tailscale access for developer administration permitted? What about Cloudflare Tunnel for publishing our web app?
    5. Are automatic backups included, and what would the renewal price be after the first year?

    Thanks!

    Hey @Techymon,

Glad to hear it. The test server runs for 3 days. Just open a ticket at skrime.eu/support, mention this thread and the RYZEN 8G, and our support will set it up for you.

We only have one location, so the test server runs in the same datacenter and on the same network as the paid plan.

Monthly billing is no problem and there's no commitment. Occasional Stockfish analysis is fine too, we just don't allow a server to sit at 100% CPU around the clock.

Not the vibe coded chess app!

it's a giveaway buddy, this is basic common sense in hosting / developer world if you couldn't do those things there would be no point in the VPS!

Take a look at CloudPe.com , our Cloud platform which offers high availability (3x data replication across the cluster), hourly billing, EPYC Milan (Mumbai) and EPYC Turin (Delhi) CPU options - flexibility with scaling up/down possible whenever required.
