Hi all!

Caliber Node here with a special VPS offer out of Dallas, Texas.

Who is Caliber Node?

We're a relatively new provider and have been operating for around 2 years. Our primary focus has been managed application hosting, which has grown considerably for us.

We're now opening up our virtual server offerings because we understand that sometimes you need more than just a managed app — you need the flexibility of a full VPS.

I'm happy to answer any questions as they come up.

Our Dallas equipment is leased through MinRTT and located at Equinix DA11 in Dallas, Texas.

We operate our own network under AS54953.

Each server has 50Gbps of connectivity, consisting of 2x 25Gbps links configured in LACP across dual ToR switches.

Our infrastructure is designed with redundancy throughout:

Any chance you can update the KVM/QEMU config to passthrough the CPU name/features instead of generic QEMU Virtual CPU?

This has been done. A simple restart it'll take effect. I've also updated it for all the virtual servers on that node and future deployments.

A full shut down/start not a simple OS Reboot.

That's correct. The plan stays completely free as long as the VPS is active. If the VPS is cancelled the plan will return to the monthly rate.

Question: I see only have a single IPv4 /24 to your ASN.
Are you CGNAT to your clients? or are you offering Public IPv4?
I don't see any IPv6.

All of our virtual servers come with 1 public dedicated IPv4.

As far as the IPv6 we use our Dallas providers addresses to make it simple.

We are new to the virtual server game that's why we only have one /24. Our app side of the business shares 1 dedicated ip between most of our customers so we didn't need to purchase blocks.
