Before completing an order and payment, you must agree to the terms of service / aup summary. This is a customization that forces that. Are you saying you did not get this? There is also TOS on the website itself.
For the dedicated servers we offer, there are SSD and SATA options. We can also offer some deals not posted on the website or in the ordering system. Our website is going to be revamped as well in a few weeks. While no dedicated servers were offered today, if you need something or have a budget in mind, I would be happy to do a custom deal for your business.
Yes, while that is mentioned. We stand by the offer as posted as a 1gbps unmetered offering which will not result in a metered VPS plan or overage due to some arbitrary number. I will add clarity to that while I have not been asked this before. Initially he 330TB is more so there due to how SolusVM handles the bandwidth calculation.
Is DirectAdmin an option instead of cPanel (and at what cost)?
I wouldn't mind. If it helps to close the deal then we can make it happen. Don't currently have DirectAdmin planned as I thought most would love cPANEL. The DirectAdmin Personal, we can do 50% off Personal or LITE. Just specify in the notes so we can figure out the logistics offline. Can offer to others seeing this as well.

cpu steal is above 20.0 when apt upgrade.
We can provide you with some additional resources if you still have this behavior, we can provide the additional capacity for a period of time. We will put some things in place to better manage this for some distros.
It's not about distros, or adding temporary additional resources but there are many cpu abuser.
cpu steal is very high above 10.0 when very simple command (such as apt update not apt upgrade)
QEMU emulates the hardware in software, this is the cause of poor performance.

Yes there are some abusers. We will take measures to improve the performance. This is to be expected given the pricing of this promotion.
I only mentioned the distros as they should be up to date by the time your vps is provisioned and given the amount of orders, lots of people are doing this among other things. Please open a ticket to track it if its still happening.
This is not a lifetime free domain. The promotion is covering the cost of the domain for the first year.
So yes, the pricing here is not going to be the only plan offered. However, its a promotion that we stand by and the pricing is valid during the term in which someone signed up for. The pricing we offer here vs other forums vs other promotions vary for that reason they are promotions. The next time we provide an offer it won't be for a $10.00/year VPS. This is for a limited quantity.

I ordered the promo VPS and paid for it but did not get the confirmation or credentials on the email.
How long it will take to deliver it?
So I will be completely honest, we haven't done much with brand socialization. Until recently, we did not know there was a TrustPilot out there for HostTheBest. Upon looking, a lot of other hosts are on it and so we claimed the profile as well. The 2nd post that you mention that talks about whether we host on Linode is valid. The billing system has been on Linode for years and we use Cloudflare. Is that an issue as well? What would be your ideal setup? As I type this our website is on Microsoft Azure and to be completely clear, we do have full cabinet colocation with Psychz in Dallas and LA which can be verified. We also own our IPv4 and IPv6 allocations.
Currently, I do not see a problem with the setup that we use. Azure is used because we support a lot of applications and at the time that Microsoft had PHP support in Azure Web Apps, we placed it there off of our infrastructure. Its not that we can't put it on a server to host ourselves. However, with the redesign of our website, we will be bringing the website to our own servers.
It is also the case that we have some delays with provisioning dedicated server orders. We do not have auto provisioning currently and so leads to some delays especially when we did the 6TB special a few months ago. This is something we are working to solve with people, remote hands and software.
I will say this though, if our $10.00/year offer doesn't pass the smell test for you then you should have purchased a VPS plan from us 10 days ago when we offered it for $8.00/monthly for a KVM and OpenVZ bundle. Thanks for your feedback @kenjing789 and others.
Thanks for your comment. I get it that folks see other comments so they jump in without having much else to say. We met the requirements to advertise here. While we are new here, we advertise in other places with other pricing. We are not a summer deadpool candidate sorry.
