    They had 500Mbit on IPv4 for a while, check on it again.

    Apart from the fact that the support response times have now increased from under 1 hour to over 10 hours (sometimes up to 24 hours), not all questions are answered directly and you have to ask them several times, I am satisfied so far.

    Yes, VNC is offered. But it does not always work. Yes, you can include ISO via the panel. However, a Windows ISO with almost 6 GB did not work. The file size was exceeded. The support then added the ISO for me.

    The backup function does not work for some time. When this will be provided again, until today no answer.

    But what annoys me the most is the fact to feel like a second choice customer. My tariff includes 4 CPU cores, 16GB RAM and 480GB disk. Why some customers are promised more disk for the same package is not entirely clear to me.

    Yeah, this is a bit frustrating. I was one of the early adopters, in part because it was cheap enough for a year that it was worth taking the risk trying it. However, his offerings change weekly, and every offer since has been better than what I got, even with my doubled disk quota. I'm not bitter about it, but if I was looking at it now, it would be in the back of my mind that he'll randomly change the offering tomorrow, and would probably hold out to wait and see what that might be rather than snapping it up.

    I'm not sure about the support. He's based in India, but seems very slow replying to requests in either Indian timezone or UK timezone, where he's presenting the business to be. He has actually dealt with the support things I wanted (i.e. doubled disk and rDNS), but neither with any alacrity. To me, it feels like this is a side-hustle and he's doing a full-time job elsewhere and just checking on support tickets when he has a chance in the evening.

    The machine was down for 6 hours, again right in the middle of the day in his timezone, and from 6am until gone noon in the UK. There was no response from support to that. When the machine fairly was usable again, IPv6 was unrouteable for about a day. He then said this was due to a kernel panic and he needed to reboot it, but then there were a further 3 unannounced reboots that day. Since then, it's been stable again though.

    The network is another issue. He advertises unlimited bandwidth, but then in the control panel there's a cap, which he says he will adjust if you ask. But why have the cap there at all (and set quite low) if it's unlimited? The network is a hodge-podge of Hetzner IPv6 and OVH IPv4. I can understand why he's done that, but it shows it's a budget offering. And the network speed. The cap has been up and down all over the place, although it does now seem to have settled around 500Mbps. But even that has a weird scaling thing going on. If you have something downloading with an interactive progress bar, the speed is up and down every second. It'd be more useful if it was just a constant speed cap, rather than fast one second and almost nothing the next.

    But overall, it's an OK server for playing with. As it's a Hetzner Ryzen machine it's pretty nippy. But I wouldn't have enough confidence to use this in production. Maybe as he gains experience as a provider, things will settle down more.

    He was specifically asked about that somewhere else, and he claimed that there was a family relationship, but the businesses were completely separate.

    We mainly do managed services, this is our second time promoting unmanaged Vps services.

    We don't allow web VNC at the moment but can use a client for example RealVNC after setting vnc password in control panel
    This makes some extra steps I know & we plan to support noVNC web in future.
