Will you provide a template with tensorflow-gpu pre-installed?

  • Hey, buddy,I have created an VM in the server,They performed very well, I have considered topping up in my account,Thank you~

  • To be honest, the cost of this stop is still a bit expensive, because sometimes it will stop for a period of time, but he still continues to bill, whether it can be changed to the stop situation is no cost.

When it's stopped you pay for the storage, which is necessary to keep your state of the VM to allow it to power back on in future. If powered off VMs were free then you would be gaining infinite free storage.

Ok~You've won this round, but,I still think that in order to attract customers to stay, it would be better without this billing. Maybe you are right, but this is my idea.

Super tiny grammar nitpick while I'm here:

Once you press "delete," the VM

    You probably mean "delete",

Actually, the original is more correct according to traditional grammar rules. I'm not really sure this is grammar, but whatever it's called, punctuation in English is moved from after the quotes to just before the quotes. An example: "I'm deleting your VM," he said.

Lol, that's why we set the date of registration to be at least November 15 aka pre-BF members.

In the vocabulary of this forum, "To deter the MJJs" lol

So my answer is ideally not. Ideally use your brain to do something like learning ML or Blender. But if you want to mine, your $15 in credits might generate like $3 so I guess sure, if you are fine with getting only a bit of money, go ahead then :joy:

Remember to post some feedback once you are done mining!

Ha! Thanks for clearing that up :D I posted that because someone might really think! Hey! Imma mine some shit coins on this! Imma b rich! Moolah Babye!

So kids, don't mine your shit coins, it ain't worth it.

Saved you loads of future problems ;)

  • @BlaZe I think it is better to add another confirmation warning (may be to type in the VM name/id) before actual deleting the VM to avoid accidently delete the VM.

  • I won't be asking for credit, but I can vouch for @lentro ; I've used Dash-Cloud, and it's definitely a premium service with good prices and great performance.

Yes, we still bill for storage when the server is off, otherwise the cost of operating the 3x replication Ceph clusters (40gbit internal networking) would be too high and would encourage people to store things forever. If you delete a stopped server, you won't be billed anymore, so that's the best near-term solution if you don't want to be billed at all :)

I will consider lowering the price though, e.g. $0.01/hr for 100 GB instead of 50 GB. Thoughts?
