    In San Diego:

    "E3 Ivy Bridge Server Sale" - Xeon E3-1270V2 (3.5Ghz, 4/8 Cores)

    • 32GB DDR-3 ECC RAM
    • 1 x 256GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD or 2 x 1TB WD RE4 HDDs
    • 10TB Premium Bandwidth Blend on 100Mbps Port

    $99/month.

    http://www.calihop.net/

@Spencer and I use them and like them.

  • @Damian @Spencer linked me, I'd really prefer/like/need? a 1gig port, though. Otherwise, the deal is perfect, and I might end up going with it anyway.

Open a sales ticket with him, tell him that a lack of a gig port is what's holding you back. Offer to trade off one of the drives and half the ram for a gig port.

I get the feeling that he has gig ports available, but doesn't really advertise/offer them directly. I haven't pressed the issue with him, since 100mbit is fine for us.... maybe @Spencer has some info on that.

We can do this in LA for $110/month. Multacom DC with Gigabit port.

  • How many of you can do native v6? (I know I'm asking a lot - and the native v6 rules out calihop for now)

In other news... Spring has sprung, and as the summer nears there has been a rash of resurrected threads on LET. @hostnun has been consulted and some members are wondering, is it divine intervention?
