I think that's paid annually On the first plan

  • @Tripleflix - couldn't post it as it violates LET's rules - click on server 1 and choose annual

So you also can't mention it in the post, let alone as a major advertising point in its title.

  • @rm_ - I did a copy and paste, then started cutting down the offers in the message. I've edited the title

Love delimiter. Hard working guys, fast support, great network. They've been crazy helpful and accomodating to MXroute.

  • I am also a Delimeter happy customer :)

  • All I want is one other location with the same pricing.

    +1, EU would be nice.

  • Can anyone compare the Deal 1 with 1.99$ Online.net server?

Does it have same CPU and network speed? I see the HDD is different.

  • @c1bl - The Atoms are A230's they are pretty old units but great for things like DNS servers, mail server, we have some customers running quite busy wordpress sites on there. But they are not going to be good for mining ;)

  • @ihatetonyy - Which location do you want?

Same pricing? I'd emailed once before and was told the economics weren't right to do these types of deals on the Best Coast.

  • @MarkTurner I just need to run few WordPress sites.

How long does it take to run clamav full scanning? Right now my Online.net 1.99$ takes 7 minutes to finish clamav scanning.

  • @ihatetonyy - I don't know the pricing, I know there were offers that matched Atlanta in LA, Dallas, New York and Minneapolis but haven't seen those offers repeated for 2-3 months.

    @c1bl - What processor/mobo/bus do those $1.99 servers have?

  • @MarkTurner here is the CPU info

  • Also a happy Delimiter customer with two servers. Great network, good support. The only issue I've ever had is them thinking I was being DDOSed once when in reality I was pushing lots of data between two of my servers over UDP. Other than that one time event it's been great.

  • So an Atom 230 = 2x Via Nano?

What will happen if I use more than 2 TB bandwidth?

  • MarkTurnerMarkTurner Member
    edited November 2014

@c1bl - I wouldn't go that far but here is a CPU comparison:

    http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/389/Intel_Atom_230_vs_VIA_Nano_U2250.html

    Passmark:

    VIA Nano U2250 (1.6GHz Capable) 377

    Intel Atom 230 @ 1.60GHz 295

  • Just wanna say so far I am happy new customer

Yesterday i ordered a server with them, received it this morning and all works quite nicely

just ordered another one, cheers :)

  • @innoideas - thanks for the feedback!

  • @c1bl - I didn't answer this 'What will happen if I use more than 2 TB bandwidth?' - if you exceed the allocated b/w then the network port gets shutdown until next month; if you need it back online before then you can buy additional traffic.

  • @MarkTurner thanks for the info.

  • @MarkTurner - I hope these servers feature a full IPMI and can let me install from Custom ISOs?

  • @mehargags - All the blades servers do

  • Would be great to see Deal 2 somewhere in EU (preferable NL).
