Not quite yet. As some people might have experienced we are getting the same DDOS attacks as a month ago, causing disruption to the network. The person is very determined attacking 24/7 on various nodes. There is a plan underway to handle this permanently but it takes some time. Nonetheless, someone is wasting money and/or resources helping HostBrr becoming better. So thanks, I guess. It's a slight nuisance but it is being handled.

It's absurd how someone is so determined to bring down my services. Needs a special kind of person.
So I guess a status update is in due order. Currently doing a large scale deployment of 7950XD servers in the NTT datacenter where many clients can be migrated to. Getting 4 new nodes deployed today, hopefully.
Also have a beastly node coming up with 2x AMD EPYC 9534 CPUs, 1 TB RAM, 15 TB NVMe Storage, 10 Gbps uplink and block storage as many have requested for these plans. Deployment takes a little longer but I expect all flash deal orders to end on this node.
With the ongoing Path.net issues the current DDOS protection at this location will also likely switch to Auralogic / Combahthon. This is currently being tested. Hopefully this also resolves some recent peering issues.
When all this comes to fruition I believe the products offered will be much better and greatly reduce the risk of such a situation ever happening again.

Which part? Well just to elaborate on all, since this is a giga-chad server it only makes sense to have 10 Gbps connectivity for the VMs, since 1 Gbps shared is likely too little for 1.5 TB of RAM :-) Its also much requested.
Will add a local RAID5-array to this node as well, so people can enjoy cheap local block storage for their servers.
In regards to migration, unless Hetzner figures out a way to stop this attack then its simply too much of a liability to continue using their services. So I'd likely migrate most clients onto the NTT datacenter where I can bring proper DDOS protection. Other than just DDOS protection there are many benefits to me and the clients of this new location.

Yes. I hope that by changing to Combahton that peering will become better. Path has been de-peered by several routes. Also, if you are having issues and haven't already then sending MTR logs will greatly help improving the peering where can.

Most likely. It is in Frankfurt.
I am still in dialogue with Hetzner to resolve these DDOS attacks so it is not all over yet. But if no solution is to be found then I am not willing to be a target dummy for DDOS attacks in the future.

Yes, ready above. DDOS attacks. Open a ticket and I can migrate you to Frankfurt where this is not a problem.
My VM with block storage has been basically unusable, the NVME isn't impacted though. Is being caused by the above issues/attacks or is my situation a bit more isolated? Awaiting a ticket response

It seems that the DDoS attack are still an ongoing problem? Can't use the VM right now. SSH always disconnects and everything is really really slow.
Why on earth is someone doing this?
