I expect not to continue using my Free VPS, so please reallocate it to someone else from LET. As discussed in posts above, the not yet installed previously allocated free VPSes may need to be reallocated. Of course, I remain available any time I am able to help. Please feel free to ping me on Signal App if needed.

Guys! @TheOnlyDK has been really great to work with! He's been steady, dependable, and reliable throughout the entire time we've been working on the FreeVPS.org project. DK worked his way through network configuration issues which took lots of effort and time, ultimately requiring help from @yoursunny. @FatGrizzly has lots of system administration knowledge and experience, and has been a good friend to me here at LET. I welcome FG again, and I look forward to his no doubt substantial contributions. We've also enjoyed significant help from @DP, @Cloudie, @ravi, @yoursunny, and others. I am confident that FreeVPS.org and the chi1 node plus additional nodes to come are in good hands. I wish everyone much learning and much utility from FreeVPS.org!

We have installed VirtFusion Hypervisor (Thanks VF @VirtFusion !) on @PieHasBeenEaten's Server
and @Cloudie generously donated an another server for us to run Virtfusion's Control Server.(Thanks Cloudie!)
We are also setting up Blesta at this very moment.
We are also grateful to receive free virtfusion license from Phill(@Virtfusion ) for FreeVPS.org

We are hoping to come in production in a week(tentative).

We are also looking for providers who can offer us a dedicated server, or even a KVM in EU with a solid network. If any of provider is willing to donate us a server, kindly let us know!

Hi Guys!

It's been since December 9 that anybody on the FreeVPS.org team posted. As I understand the status, both @TheOnlyDK and @FatGrizzly are busy with legit stuff like work and exams. As I posted previously in this thread, I prefer not to be too involved in FreeVPS.org day to day operations.

I think both @TheOnlyDK and @FatGrizzly are great! Nevertheless, without criticizing them at all, the FreeVPS.org project progress is slowed. Options I can think of include:

• wait patiently,

• add additional staff,

• discontinue the FreeVPS.org project.

Maybe there are additional options? Can anybody think of additional options?

Is there anyone with appropriate skills plus adequate free time who wants to join the FreeVPS.org team?

Should we discontinue the FreeVPS.org project?

Should we just wait patiently?

Again, no criticism of @TheOnlyDK or @FatGrizzly is intended. Both of them have invested a lot of great work into the FreeVPS.org project! I posted this only because I think our donors and our users are owed regular progress reports, and it's been awhile!

I intend to help someone run an IPv6 only site for some niche group without having to share any personal data. While the content might be controversial in some religious groups, it is not intended to be public and it is definitely not illegal, just personal stories and people coming together to share them. Understanding you are not alone helps a lot with the healing.

As for the project, while I am all for donating free time and support, that is what I don't have, at least right now.
