it was amazing they had given a service with 100 Mbps Port for store database, like as mongo, postgresql
hopefully got the one with port default postgresql, mongod for my production

Thanks for giving away so far
Yes!
Chicago going down shortly, in about half an hour or so. We hope to have it back very soon, within a day or two. ipv6 might be delayed (provider needs to change config) but v4 should be ready relatively quickly.
If you still have "important" data on the server, you have that much time to back them up. Once we're ready to re-provision, we will deploy everyone on Chicago, except those who posted they want CDA instead.

All my data is stored on github so it's ok to wipe my server anytime. I also want to stay on Chicago if possible. Once again thank you all for your time, your support and your efforts. Best wishes!

Damn, it is over? I have some.
Sadly, it's wiped.
3 days notice is kinda rough, I would have like expected at least 2 weeks.
I got people replying after 2 months to my DM's so yea.
Are the people who got the freebie 2 month ago get to keep it after reinstall?
I agree with you, We're in a bit of hurry and hence we had to do this.
Extremely sorry to fellas who couldn't backup in time. Sorry and We'll make sure you'll never experience this again.
Yep! You get to choose between Coeur D'Alene or Chicago.
Also, We almost forgot to announce this one!

Thanks GTHost,Crunchbits,Piehasbeeneaten!
I tagged you several times, hope they're not million dollars data you had in there. We'll try to our best to honor this for those that have gotten it in the past, should have plenty of room with the two nodes.
@TheOnlyDK @FatGrizzly when does provisioning begin?> @FatGrizzly said:
Very soon! No exact ETA yet, but we are quite there!
Soon(tm)
Thank you for donating to EFF!
We'll put you on the donator plan once we come out. Very soon tm.
Hey how's going now buddy
going good sir! We'll be live very soon!
Is there an approximate ETA?
We're still trying to get v6 to work. The challenge is VLAN required by gthost on v6 but not v4. I'll check with the team to see if we can start provisioning on the other server.
Hi @Digika! Hi @TheOnlyDK!
We (the FreeVPS team) saw how the GTHost node's IPv6 works just fine when configured with five lines of shell script calling the
ip(8)
command.Maybe our challenge is from something else, and not from GTHost?
Tom
ThanksGTHost
The issue is not with the provider, but the virtualization software utilizing v6 via vlan. Our previous setup used a software router, however, that's not how the new setup works.
(( still waiting ))
(( Sorry! ))
(( Always nice to see you, @Ganonk! ))
Some update on Chicago, we're contacting the provider, trying to get v6 and v4 on the same vlan, so VF will be happy. Request has been submitted, waiting on provider. Once that's done, I think the rest should be a breeze and we're ready for deployment (on both CHI and CDA)!
Thanks everyone for their patience
#ThanksGTHost for kindly accepting FreeVPS.org's repeated network change requests!
Mentally strong people modify the NIC driver to do VLAN tagging in hardware.
Hint: write eBPF program, in C.
Haven't given out updates yet here, Ugh.
Okay, here's the thing.
Our Chicago location is up and working.
Our CDA location is up and working.
We are performing final testing on Blesta to make sure everything will be smooth when we launch, I know its getting late, but we will open up registrations very soon(tm).

Hello sir!
I've donated monthly to oerdnj, he is Ondřej Surý (if u guys didn't know, a debian developer who made php ppa repository) last days
I don't know if donated to open source is option 2 or not.
The default specs will do for me: 1 core 512MB 10GB and 100Mbps.
