    Why?

  • @Cloudcone do these have IPv6? I could only find a guide on how to enable it for "scalable cloud servers" on your website and no info if VPSs have IPv6 or not unfortunately.

No IPv6 support for VPSs yet. We should be re-enabling IPv6 system-wide in early 2022.

    Why?

Their node had disk failure and some of the data was lost. They didn't make any announcements about this issue, in the ticket they will keep saying the server is up now. More importantly, this happened multiple times.

Sounds like MJJs should avoid the forgetful chicken.

They say they are using raid10, but they can lose data even with raid10 for multiple times, you can imagine how unprofessional they are.

But Mjjs don't care about their data, they only need something cheap that can build their VPN.

The incident was due to a RAID Card failure on one of our SC2 HDD hypervisors, which we could not recover the array.

However, it is important to know that we:

    • Use Monitored RAID 10 for all our Hypervisors.
    • Offer convenient automatic backups and snapshots on our SC2 packages which can be used for quick recovery anytime via the Control Panel.

In this incident, we have restored many clients who already had backups / snapshots enabled, and given compensation to all the affected clients.

We also have assisted clients who had manual/own backups to restore their systems back to their original state.

It's always advised to back up your systems on any provider you decide to go ahead with

Correct, we're in the process of re-planning the IPv6 network to avoid common broadcast issues.

@ditlev maybe an option to allow entire subnet per VM?
