I have used Woothosting.com for a year, after they had some specials here on LET last year. My three services with them was up for renewal this week, and I had created auto payment in Paypal, so all three services was paid for the 15.January. Also got payment confirmations for all three services.

Then they suspended my services due to unpaid invoices, but I did pay, and they also confirmed the payments.

I have of course opened a ticket with them, with High priority, and after two days, no reply from them. So they must be deadpool?

Anybody had contact with them (or most likely just one person running the show?) the last days or weeks?

Here is proof of payments and payment confirmations from them, and the suspension mails:

    Not about the money, but the principle - if I pay I expect a service. And since their webpage is up, and people still can order from them, this is a warning so people don't waste their money.

    On their way to the deadpool seems inevitable at this point from the recent threads here. They're no longer engaged here either. Seems pretty well checked out all around.

    Any providers here @AnthonySmith want to chime in on how you would handle such a situation?

    I swear I ain't no shill, I have nothing to gain whatsoever, I just keep seeing them get shit on and I've had a good experience and some fucking horrible experiences with them. The bad shit was in the past and it's been pretty good since then so yeah.... YMMV?

    I'm only asking because you've suggested a few things now that they must be doing, and I thought that came from the experience of a provider. Maybe I'm wrong?

    But don't forget I've had a bad experience with you too, also @dewlance which you can see in another thread.

    To elaborate, I purchased a $7/month reseller package and opened a ticket for the blesta code.. I had no response after 12 hours so I replied to the ticket to ask if there's anything else he needed from me. I thought it was odd that woothosting would reply to my tickets but not a $7/month host, so I guess I had the wrong expectation. Anyway, after around 24 hours he replies with something along the lines of "i saw your replies but i didn't have the code yet" which angered me.. @AnthonySmith, if you have a ticket, which I know I have opened before, you answered VERY fast, but would you at least acknowledge you received it? This guy didn't.

    My bad experience with you was me being a dick, admittedly. I can admit to my fault where due.

    My ticket was a billing ticket, created early Norwegian time yesterday, so if WootHosting is US based or EU based they had all yesterday to respond. If they is Asia based, they should have replied late evening or night my time. I did just now create a support ticket also, since it's clear that there is someone working there since @dahartigan got a reply.

    And thank you @jarland - I have been a member here for a long time, and do not bash hosting companies for fun.

    Edit: Here is the ticket proof also, so I don't hide anything for they that don't believe me :D

    I am still waiting for a response for my open tickets too by the way, just wanted to let you know that there must be SOMEONE still there since I got a response...

    I hope you get it sorted out mate, just paypal dispute if you're feeling like they are ripping you off.. but that will auto suspend your services so beware of that.

    Just want people here on LET to know what kind of bad host they are. I have always given back here on LET, like my Windows Template page that helps lots of people for free here on LET. And I reply on any thread I can help in.

    But they have already suspended my two services that was up for renewal this year..and I will not use any time on a paypal dispute over $4.75

    I never do Paypal dispute on hosting services. I have done some on Ebay and some other Internet stores, there I have got fake products, no products, wrong products etc. So no...did not do any thing without paying them (auto payment) I also see that they charged me for the services that was a biennially service, so I should not have paid this year for that.

    Sorry if it came across that way. I was simply asking because I opened a dispute with them after they suspended me for violating their ToS by torrenting. I got the shits and opened a paypal dispute, and right away I got that same email saying I hadn't paid and it was due to the dispute doing something in WHCMS that removes the payment.

    Just probing to see if that was possible here, but it's certainly not.. in your case it's a big giant fuckup at their end.

  • A few weeks ago they responded to my email when I didn't even login their cpanel for months since I don't use actively on theirs. They replied the ticket and email within a few minutes.

    But not sure they are still active or not now. Good luck to all.

    And see now, they actually moved my new support ticket to billing also, but of course, they did not update any of the ticket with any reply at all. And we all know what happens when you are put in Woothosting's Billing department - nothing at all

    This feels like a bunch of invoices got mixed up and mixed together. If you look at your email, you can see that invoice 276552 is confirmed paid twice, so you're definitely missing one invoice paid in there somehow.

    Edit: you got a receipt for it twice, yet it is also "overdue" somehow. Weird shit.

    They probably did this to suspend your service and free up some space on the node.
