Hey,

I have some BlueVM VPS'es i don't need any more, i've had most of the VPS'es for over 10 months, there great. Only reason i don't need them now is because i moved all my VPS'es onto 1 dedicated server.

So, i have:

Custom VPS1 OVZ (450 GB Disk, 4GB Ram with 8GB Burst, 6TB Traffic and 8 Cores) Paid until 31/05/2013. ($14/month) (I want $10 for this)

Custom VPS2 OVZ (450 GB Disk, 4GB Ram with 8GB Burst, 3TB Traffic and 8 Cores) Paid until 01/06/2013. ($14.45/month) (I want $15 for this)

Special Offers - KVM2 - BLUEVM BIRTHDAY SPECIAL (NY) Paid until 08/11/2013 ($14/semi-yearly) (I want $12 as i haven't used it for more than a day)

Reason the OVZ's are so cheap is i used to have about 40 IP's on each so got discounts, over the last year i have spent about $500 with them, so i moved everything to dedi's (Some dedi's with them) . Each VPS Comes with 1 IP however, more requires justification from Bluevm. BlueVM Have confirmed transfer. PayPal only. Please PM.

Thanks

Hello,

I used this OpenVPN autoinstaller: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/6106/openvpn-community-software-auto-installer-for-centos-5-6-debian-6-and-ubuntu-10-10/p1 and everything works fine, until I reboot. The server doesn't start with the system boot and I can't find init.d scripts. Does anyone have these problems too?

I've already googled but the only solutions that I've found required init.d scripts, and obviously I don't have them.

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I have tried three different providers the last few months and all of them have been plagued by network downtimes, most likely due to DDoS or other attacks/abuse.

At the host I'm with now my VPS is completely dead about 3 times per week. How much is acceptable in your opinion?
Not to mention how my uptime record (across all my servers) is only 24 days and I've had this one VPS for over a year now.

Is it really hard for the host to identify the client that gets attacked or abuses their resources and suspend them? I'm assuming it's in their best interest to suspend clients that get attacked or abuse since it's hurting their other customers.

So, is DDoS and abuse inevitable for Lowend providers? If you know any European host that does not have these issues - please do let me know.

It is now in the clear that LEB/LET has been acquired by a corporation about a year ago, despite of the fact that it was done secretively.

Due to the change of ownership, it is unavoidable that corporate interest comes first, therefore it is also acceptable that the corporation assigns somebody or a team in place to ensure that both LEB/LET run smoothly.

As a long time reader and member of LET, I am still longing for a good community atmosphere as it were when LEB/LET was in LEA's management, but I personally understand that nothing last forever and we have to be able to adapt ourself with the new atmosphere.

Every good forum has a set of rules to be followed by its members, even under LEA's management, to keep things in order as it is a fact that the livelihood of any forum depends on how comfortable the members feel when interacting within the framework of the rules.

I believe now is a good time for the company to release a formal announcement regarding the ownership, the course and direction of LEB/LET in the future as a community forum, person in charge of administering and moderating the forum, as well as new rules for posting general issue or offers.

I do hope fellow members of LEB/LET will contribute useful posts and good offers and I do hope the owner of LEB/LET to be an impartial catalyst for the benefit of the community.

Hello. I have had recently some DoS problems (~10 IPs involved, 1.5 Gbps, packets of 1500 bytes so around 100K pps). DDoS protection is generally too expensive, and I've had the impression that it doesn't really guarantee anything, at least for my budget. So the idea is to get a VPS with a burstable 10 Gbps port. So I have found these two offers:

https://hosthatch.com/10gbit-vps
http://www.5gbps.com/netherlands-vps.php

My concerns are: is the CPU fast enough to handle all that packet dropping? Do you think that the 10 Gbps is in practice good enough to sustain this 1.5 Gbps traffic?

Hello guys!

This week, I will just post our LEB offer bellow and some of the features we offer!

First, I want to introduce the new features we have: - Free backup space. You can request your 5GB free FTP off-site backup space, by opening a ticket. - MySQL offload - it is still in a beta testing period and currently is free, once it is out of the beta, we will be charging 1 to 2$ per month for the use of it. You can request it by opening a ticket. - Internal networking and IPs - you can now request internal IPs in our Seattle locations, to load-balance, backup or any other setup you may want to get rolling in our Seattle locations. Traffic through those IPs is not accounted and is free. The IPs are assigned manually, so you would have to contact us to get the IPs allocated to your services. - Filtered IPs for our KVM nodes - you can now purchase a filtered IP for our Texas KVM location as well - Reduced filtered IP pricing - we are reducing the filtered IPs pricing from 5$ to 3$, during the period this offer runs.

Now the offers:

This is an Inception Hosting sponsored and funded project that runs as an interest, it is not going anywhere and it is not a profit generator so please respect that, you can find the order link via http://lowendspirit.com which is also hosted on one of the 64mb boxes, this is just in its embryonic stages at the moment so suggestions are welcome.

If you don't have Native or tunnelled IPv6 from home/office that has been taken care of with port forwarding on IPv4 and there is a reverse proxy which handles TCP Header forwarding which in basic terms means you can also host a website on it, click around on the lowendspirit.com website to see 64mb worth of performance

New Locations for €3 p/year servers will pop up over 2013.

DO NOT post the direct link for the €3.00 p/year offer, to many people buy it without realising what they are getting that way,

General notes applicable to all above offers:

1) Test IP's will not be posted, please email sales at inceptionhosting .dot. com if you want these.
2) The offers this week or non downwards negotiable i.e. I cant reduce the price by reducing the disk space.
3) If you want any further info please email sales at inceptionhosting .dot. com

Can we shrink those signatures a little, please?

I just read some random thread - it's full of one line replies and 4-5 lines signatures. More than half my screen is filled with signatures... Can there be some reasonable limit to the size of the signatures? And maybe make them with a smaller font than the discussion?
